Mitchell Dale Smith
Mitchell Dale Smith, 65, of Piketon, Ohio passed away Tuesday, July 30, 2019 at his home. He was born December 25, 1953 in Portsmouth, Ohio to the late Hershel Dale Smith and Thelma Ilene Gullett Smith. On August 5, 1972 he was united in marriage to Nancy Diane Smith who preceded him in death on March 12, 2018. In addition to his mother he is survived by a son, Dustin Smith of Piketon; a brother, Hershel Brett Smith of Lucasville; two nieces, Michelle Smith – Hawk and Mandy Ray; a nephew, Eric C. Ray; a great niece, Morgan Marie Ray and great nephews, Cheven and Mason Hawk.
The family will receive friends from 3 – 4 pm p.m. Saturday, August 3, 2019 at the Botkin Hornback Funeral Home in Waverly. A private burial will be at a later date.
