John Alfred Newkirk

John Alfred Newkirk, 52, of Piketon, Ohio passed away Thursday, June 27, 2019 at Adena Regional Medical Center in Chillicothe, Ohio.  He was born March 8, 1967 in West Union, Ohio son of the late Roy Alfred and Patricia Ann Smith Newkirk.  Surviving are two brothers, Jack Newkirk and James Newkirk both of Waverly, Ohio; two sisters, Carolyn Newkirk and Mary Kay Newkirk both of Lucasville, Ohio; a niece and several nephews. In addition to his parents, John was also preceded in death by a sister and great nephew.

Funeral services will be 1:00 p.m. Monday, July 1, 2019 at Botkin Hornback Funeral Home with Pastor Terry Lawson officiating.  Burial will follow in Mt. Olive Cemetery.  Family will receive friends on Monday from 11:00 a.m. until the time of the service at the funeral home.
