Kathy Wright

Kathy Wright, 50, of Waverly passed away on June 17, 2019 at OSU Wexner Medical Center.  She was born on May 19, 1969 in Williamson, West Virginia, daughter of John Edward Chapman and the late Barbara Jane Perkins Rider.  On August 6, 1992 she was united in marriage to Ricky Wright who survives.  Also surviving three daughters, Brandi Chapman of Jackson, Ohio, Laura Hall of Piketon, Ohio and Jennifer Perkins and husband Greg of Lynchburg, Ohio; two sons, Brandon Wright and wife Audrey of Waverly and Ricky Wright and wife Gee of Killeen, Texas; two sisters, Jennifer Barnett and husband Jason of Beaver, Ohio and Cindi Basye and husband Cary of Piketon; a brother, Curt Sparks and wife Angela of Waverly; son-in-law, Michael Moore II the father of grandchildren, Randi, Michael and Jacey Moore; grandchildren, Jordin Hall, Alyssa, Logan and Mathew Perkins and Almira and Addie (Baby Hoss) Wright, Samuel Meadows; nieces and nephews, C.J. and Baylee Barnett and Joe and Michael Lesh II, Hannah Sparks and Dakota and Kylee Newland.  In addition to her mother, Kathy was also preceded in death by her sister, Bobbi Jo Newland.

Funeral services will be 1:00 p.m. Wednesday, June 19, 2019 at Botkin Hornback Funeral Home in Waverly.  Burial will follow in Hickman Cemetery, Jackson, Ohio.  Family will receive friends from 11:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday at the funeral home.
