Molly Irene Harrington

Molly Irene Harrington, Age 82, of Portsmouth, passed away Saturday, June 8, 2019, at SOMC Hospice in Portsmouth.  She was born February 27, 1937, in Glovers Gap, West Virginia to John Lee and Nancy (Watson) Stoneking.  Molly worked for the Parks and Recreation Department in Portsmouth.  She enjoyed gardening, crocheting reading, and listening to music.

She is survived by her daughters, Patricia (James) Stanley of Portsmouth, Nancy Messer of Portsmouth; sons, Ronnie (Melinda) Stoneking of Franklin Furnace, Joe (Carla) Harrington of South Webster, John Harrington of Scotts Hill, TN; brothers, Ray (Liz) Stoneking of Hundred, WV, Joe (Vivian) Stoneking of Reeder, WV; sisters, Patricia Wright of Cameron, WV, Margaret (John) Karprail of Marietta, Gladys Gardner of Bristol, VA; many grandchildren, including Kimberley (Wayne) Johnson of Portsmouth; and a host of great-grandchildren.  In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her daughter, Janet Harrington; several brothers and sisters; 2 great-grandchildren, Gregory Andrew Peck, and Daniel Joseph Bays.
