Wilma Jean Greathouse

Mom completed her journey…and what an adventure it was. She was a true blessing and a sassy inspiration for all of us. She had a deep love for her family and her church. She loved to camp and travel, especially to the beach, and enjoyed reading. She was a retired paralegal and also spent time in customer service where her sales experience and skills took her places. Mom was a joy to be around and was always smiling….of course, she never hesitated to tell you how it is, but did it out of love. Sunday, May 26th 2019 she went to her eternal home with our Lord and Savior.

Jeanie was preceded in death by her loving husband Bob (Robert), her brother Ronnie Turner, and her uncle, Hayes Terry.

She is survived by her stepson, Robert Eugene (Laura); daughter, Jennifer Ann Davis (Terry); sons, James Robert (Katie), Dennis Wayne; her grandchildren, Kylie, Carey (Cindy), Shelby, Baylee, James II, Jacob, Sierra, Lilly, Josiah; three great-grandchildren, Bobbie Lee, Travis, and Harper; as well as her aunt, Louise Terry and several cousins.

You are forever in our hearts – we will always love you – give dad a hug for us!!

Private services will be held at the convenience of the family.  In lieu of flowers, etc., we request that memorial contributions in Jeanie’s name be made to: SOMC Hospice Caritas Fund, 2201 25th St., Portsmouth, OH 45662.
