Douglas Eugene Weeks

Douglas Eugene Weeks, 66, of Lucasville, Ohio, passed away on Monday, May 13, 2019 at OSU Wexner Medical Center, Columbus, Ohio.  He was born November 21, 1952 in Presque Isle, Maine, son of the late Ralph and Iva Armstrong Weeks.  Surviving are his soul mate, Mary A. Hughes of Lucasville; his ex-wife of 34 years, Cindy Weeks of Gloucester, Virginia; two daughters, Darci Weeks, New Port News, Virginia and Staci Simmons of Strasburg, Virginia; a son, Christopher Weeks of Columbia, Tennessee; 9 grandchildren, 1 great grandson, Jameson; a sister-in-law, Crystal Collins of Greenup County, Kentucky and two brothers-in-law, Timmy Collins and wife Jennifer of Greenup County and Billy Ray Collins and wife Sally of Portsmouth, Ohio.

Douglas was a retired Master Sergeant with the U.S. Air Force with 20 years of service.  He also was an automotive mechanic and car restorer.

Family will receive friends on Monday, May 20, 2019 at Botkin Hornback Funeral Home from 5:00 – 7:00 p.m.  Military honors will be provided at 7:00 p.m. by American Legion Merritt Post # 142 of Waverly, Ohio.
