Sharon Louise Alley
Sharon Louise Alley, 70, of Piketon, Ohio passed away Monday, April 29, 2019 at Adena Regional Medical Center in Chillicothe, Ohio. She was born March 24, 1949 in Lucasville, Ohio to the late Luther Alley and Geneva Buckler. On February 15, 1993 she was united in marriage to her late husband Glen Garner. Surviving are two daughters, Tina (Clinton) Cook of Piketon, and Gina (Victor Slack) Alley of Waverly; a step-son, Glen Garner, Jr. of Fostoria, Ohio; five grandchildren, Jessica (Randy) Corbin, Breanna (Brad) Beekman, Carlena Cook, Jordan Cantrell, and Christine Cantrell; six great-grandchildren, Chloe Cook, Jayla Beekman, Natalie Allen, Andrew Holbert, Kayden and Cannon Corbin; eight brothers, Randy (Bonnie) Alley of Tennessee, James (Sue) Alley of Lucasville, Michael (Garnett) Alley of Lucasville, Jack (Judy) Alley of Lucasville, Tim (Tina) Alley of Lucasville, Luther “Dutch” Alley of Lucasville, and Virgil (Diane) Alley of Idaho, Ohio; a sister, Diane (James) Maynard of Beaver, Ohio; and many beloved nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents and husband she was preceded in death by four brothers, Harold, Richard, Donald, and Amos Alley, and two sisters, Carol Cassidy and Glenna Fultz.
Funeral services will be held at 11 am Saturday, May 4, 2019 New Beginnings Assembly of God Church on Oliver Street in Piketon with Rev. Jeff Brown officiating. Burial will follow in Jacobs Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 4-7 pm on Friday, May 3rd at the church and for one hour prior to the funeral service.
