Steven Allen Ward

Steven Allen Ward, 62, of West Portsmouth, passed away on Monday, February 11, 2019 at Southern Ohio Medical Center.  He was born December 3, 1956 to James Taylor and Betty Burlene (Ward).

Steven is survived by his wife, Sharon (Hamilton) Ward who he wed on April 8, 2000; son, John Wesley Ward of Hilton Head, South Carolina; and daughter, Jessica Kay Hamilton of West Portsmouth; two grandchildren, Traeton and Colten Hamilton; a brother, Phillip (Tina) Taylor of Piketon; two sisters, Teresa Taylor of Rarden and Tammy (Jerry) Dillow of Blue Creek; and special cousin Caryl Skidmore.  Steve was also survived by many nieces and nephews and several brother and sister in laws.  Steven was preceded in death by his brothers Danny Taylor and David Taylor.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 PM on Monday, February 18, 2019 at the Botkin Hornback Funeral Home in Otway, Ohio with Pastor Mark Bales officiating.  Burial will follow in UP Cemetery, Otway, Ohio.  The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 12:00 PM until the service.
