William Carlton Wagner

William Carlton “Bill” Wagner, 86, of Lucasville, passed away Monday, February 11, 2019 at SOMC Hospice.
He was born May 31, 1932 in Lucasville, a son of the late Walter and Carrie McNamer Wagner.
Bill was retired from the Maintenance Department for Goodyear Atomic Corp, Co-owner of Valley T.V. in Lucasville, and a 1950 Valley High School graduate. He was a US Army veteran.
He is survived by his wife, Virginia “Ginny” Graham Wagner whom he married August 1, 1961 in Wartburg, Tennessee; one daughter, Ellen (Jim) Horsley of Lucasville; one son, Mark William Wagner of Gilford, New Hampshire; three grandchildren, Jay Horsley, Larissa (Nathan) Coriell, and Chad Horsley; four great grandchildren, Ashley Morgan, Natalie Morgan,  Caroline Horsley, and Scarlett Horsley; two brothers, Richard Wagner of Portsmouth and Steve Wagner of Rootstown, Ohio; three sisters, Margie Williams of Arvada, Colorado, Linda Ramey of Waverly, and Barbara Brush of Rosemount.
Bill was also preceded in death by two brothers, Ted and Jimmy Wagner; and two sisters, Helen Murray and Doris Beasley.
Funeral services will be conducted 7:15 Friday, February 15, 2019 at the McKinley Funeral Home in Lucasville with Kenny Estep officiating. Friends may call 5 to 7 p.m. Friday prior to the service. Graveside military rites will be provided by the William A. Baker and James F. Irwin Posts of the American Legion at a later date.
