Donald Edward Warner

Donald Edward Warner, 80, of Rosemount passed away Monday, February 11, 2019 at SOMC Hospice.
He was born April 30, 1938 in New Boston a son of the late Homer Clarence and Helen Eunice Tibbs Warner.
He was a retired brick setter for North American Refractories, a 1956 Clay High School graduate, a member of United Commercial Travelers, and attended Valley United Methodist Church. He was an avid sports fan following the Ohio State Buckeyes, the Kentucky Wildcats, and the Cincinnati Reds. He loved watching his children and grandchildren participate in all their activities and sporting events.
He was also preceded in death by one brother, Jeffrey Warner; and his beloved golden retriever, Marley.
Donald is survived by his wife, Joyce Ann Compton Warner whom he married May 31, 1963 in McDermott; one son, Michael (Lanita) Warner of Rosemount; and one daughter, Kelly (Robbie) Bratchett of Portsmouth; four grandchildren, Brandon (Kasey) Wedebrook, Blake Wedebrook, Tre Bratchett, and Aleigha Bratchett.
Funeral services will be conducted at noon, Thursday, February 14, 2019 at the McKinley Funeral Home in Lucasville with Pete Shaffer officiating. Burial will follow in Rosemount’s Orm Cemetery. Friends may call 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday and an hour prior to the funeral Thursday at the funeral home.
