Sharon Kay Browning Goddard
Sharon Kay Browning Goddard, 68, of Galloway, Ohio, passed away Friday, January 11, 2019 at Doctor’s West Hospital in Columbus.
She was born July 18, 1950 in Middletown, Ohio, a daughter of the late George and Joanne Staggs Browning Sr.
Sharon retired from the Ohio Department of Job and Family Services serving as Assistant Director of Scioto County, and a 1968 Northwest High School graduate. She was a member of the Dry Run Church of Christ, and the Lucasville Chapter of the Order of Eastern Star.
She was also preceded in death by her brother, Michael Browning.
Sharon is survived by her husband, Robert “Bob” Goddard whom she married December 8, 2012 in Greenup, Ky; two children, Todd (Christa) Arnett of Charlotte, North Carolina, and Erin Ferrara of Chillicothe, two stepchildren, Megan Goddard Lynskey of Columbus and Seth Goddard of Galloway; six grandchildren, Carrington, Anthony, and Alyson Ferrara, Madelyn and Megan Arnett, and Jace Goddard; and one brother, George Browning of West Portsmouth.
Funeral services will be conducted at noon, Friday, January 18, 2019 at the McKinley Funeral Home in Lucasville with Mark Seevers officiating. Burial will follow in Rushtown Cemetery. Friends may call 5 to 8 p.m. Thursday and an hour prior to the service Friday.
