Wilma Jane Longberry

Wilma Jane Longberry, 72, of Portsmouth, passed away Tuesday, January 8, 2019 at Southern Ohio Medical Center in Portsmouth. Born September 28, 1946 in Scioto County, a daughter of the late Raymond Wesley and Edna Mae (Schomburg) Conkel, she attended Rubyville Community Church. She is survived by two sons, Chad (Chasity) Longberry, Nicholas (Rebecca) Longberry; a daughter, Samantha (Justin) Rupar; five grandchildren, Charity Longberry, Chad Longberry Jr., Jade Hawk, Scotty Hawk, Nora Rupar; five sisters, Gladys Conkel, Patricia Thompson, Curleen Pinson, Darlene Skinner, Linda (Joey) Riley, and a brother, Eugene (Judy) Conkel. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a sister in infancy, Karen Marie Conkel.

Funeral services will be conducted 1:00 p.m. Saturday, January 12, 2019 at Erwin-Dodson-Allen Funeral Home in Minford with Pastor Calvin Ray Evans officiating. Burial will be at Harrison – Furnace Cemetery in Minford. Friends may call at the funeral home from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday and one hour prior to the service on Saturday.
