Kay Don Burke

Don Burke, 83, of Ashland, Kentucky, passed away Friday, December 21, 2018 at his residence. Kay was born May 20, 1935 in Wheelersburg, Ohio to the late Allister and Letitia Lewis Burke. Kay was a Wheelersburg High School graduate and worked in maintenance at the former New Boston Coke plant. He was a member of Wheelersburg United Methodist Church, Western Sun Lodge #91 and the United Steel Workers Union. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his first wife, Elizabeth Ann Burke and two brothers, Kenneth and Gaylen Burke. Kay is survived by his wife, Sondra Kay Burke; two sons, Keith Richard (Debbie) Burke and David (Angie) Lewis; a daughter, Debra Ann Burke (Charles) Jones; six grandchildren, Travis and Bridgette Burke, Cody, Dawson and Ethan Lewis and Stacey Strausbaugh and two great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be 1:00 pm Wednesday, December 26, 2018 at Harrison-Pyles Funeral Home in Wheelersburg with Pastor Perry Prosch officiating. Interment will follow in Memorial Burial Park.
