David Lee Schackart, Jr.

David Lee Schackart Jr. of McDermott passed away Tuesday, Dec. 11, 2018 at Southern Ohio Medical Center.
He was born Dec. 10, 1954 a son of David Lee Schackart of Piketon and the late Erma Darlene Hoover Warner.
He was a roller operator for Shelly Construction and a member of the Southern Ohio Gun Dog Assoc.
He is survived by his wife, Claudia Pertuset Schackart whom he married Jan. 12, 1974 in McDermott; son David Anthony (Tiffeny) Schakart of McDermott; two daughters, Melissa (Chris) Morris of Houston, TX and Michelle (Bill Sheats) Burchett of McDermott; 12 grandchildren: 3 great-grandchildren; three brothers, Ralph and Gary Schakart of Lucasville and Larry Schakart of South Webster; and two sisters, Patricia Blevins and Cynthia Monroe both of Lucasville.
Funeral services will be conducted at noon, Saturday, December 15, 2018 at the McKinley Funeral Home in Lucasville with Bob Davis officiating. Burial will follow in Scioto Cemetery. Friends may call from 10 a.m. till the funeral hour.
