Jill Elaine Smith

Jill Elaine Smith, 63, of Portsmouth, passed away at her home on Thursday, December 6, 2018. She was born December 8, 1954 in Portsmouth, a daughter of Delmus R. and Janice Louise Nichols Smith, who survive.

Jill was a 1973 PHS graduate and of the Baptist faith. Upbeat and caring, she was a family oriented woman who loved books and her cats.

Surviving are her parents, Delmus and Janice Smith of Portsmouth; two daughters, Rikki Lynn Smith of Portsmouth and Stacey Leigh (Anthony) Price of Columbus; a sister, Jan (Carmen) Carr of Portsmouth; and three granddaughters, Daylon Mykal (Christopher) Pickard, Dinia Dominique Smith and Mikai Marie Aleigh Dixon.

A brother, Brian Smith, preceded her in death.

The family will conduct private services under the direction of the Ralph F. Scott Funeral Home in Portsmouth.
