Daniel Woods
Daniel “Danny” Woods, 62, of Piketon, Ohio passed away Thursday, December 6, 2018 at 3:01 pm at Adena Pike Medical Center in Waverly. He was born July 22, 1956 in Portsmouth, Ohio to the late Elmer Archie Woods and Lucille Ruth McRoberts. Surviving are two daughters, Danielle Pfeifer and husband Dustin of Waverly and Carla Perkins of Waverly; two brothers, James and Edwin Woods; two sisters, Wanda McJunkin and Barbara Leeth; five grandchildren, Andrew, Clayton and Brynlee Pfeifer, and Zack and Savannah Perkins; and many nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents Daniel was preceded in death by a son, Jason Neil Woods; a brother, Leroy Woods; and three sisters, Joyce Kay Bolton, Sherry Woods and Donna Jean Woods.
The family would like to give a special thanks to the caregivers at the Pavilion at Piketon, especially Corrina and Susan, and Keith.
Funeral services will be held at 1:00 PM Friday, December 14, 2018 at the Botkin Hornback Funeral Home in Waverly with Rev. Terry Lawson officiating. Burial will follow in White Oak Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 11 AM until the time of the service at the funeral home.
