Paul Jeffrey “Abe” Roberts

Paul Jeffrey “Abe” Roberts, 63, of Pataskala, rode away on Sunday, November 18, 2018 at his home. He was born October 31, 1955 in Portsmouth, a son of the late Herbert Hobson and Dorothy Mae Payton Roberts.

Abe was a rider for life and associated with many colors. He was a master tool and dye maker.

He is survived by his loving children, Cody Rae Roberts, Abe Roberts, Randi Young and Amanda Etters; grandchildren, Aiden and A’Riya McGhee; siblings, Lynne Roberts and Andy (Janet) Roberts; and several honorary brothers and sisters that he held dear to his heart.

The family will receive callers from 3 to 7 p.m. on Saturday, December 1 at KAUBER-FRALEY FUNERAL HOME, 289 S. Main St., Pataskala. Friends and family will gather at 9:00 a.m. Sunday, December 2 at Kauber-Fraley Funeral Home to leave no later than 11:00 a.m. to escort Abe on his final ride to Portsmouth.

Funeral services will be held at 3:00 p.m. Sunday, December 2 at the RALPH F. SCOTT FUNERAL HOME in Portsmouth with Rev. Rodney Laudermilk officiating. The family will receive friends from the time of the Abe’s arrival at approximately 1:30 p.m. until the funeral hour.

Honoring Abe’s wishes, cremation will follow and he will be laid to rest with his parents at Sunset Memorial Gardens in Franklin Furnace.
