Martha (Miller) Ison

Martha (Miller) Ison, 80, of Lucasville, passed away Friday,  November 16th, 2018 at her residence surrounded by her family.
She was born November 24th, 1937 in Floyd County Kentucky, a daughter of the late Harrison & Belle Miller.
Martha was a retired factory worker at the former Williams Shoe Manufacturing Co. & Mitchell Lace. She attended the former Apostolic Tabernacle. Martha also joined as a registered member Cherokee Indian Organization.
She is survived by two daughters, Donna K. Snow of Cincinnati, Ohio, Mother of America D. Hanes, Jakeri’ D. Snow, Nicholas A. Salem, and 5 step Children; Yvonna F. Barnes of Piketon, Ohio, mother of Misty D. Johnson, Mark A. Covert, Heather R. Parsley; 31 great-grandchildren, and 3 great-great grandchildren.
She was also preceded in death by her beloved husband, Leland D. Ison, one daughter, Connie Sue Salem, who was the mother of surviving grandchildren Michelle L. Salem, Lawrence A. Salem, and Johnathan P. Covert; one great granddaughter, Brittany; 7 Brothers & 4 Sisters.
Funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. Saturday November 24th 2018 at the McKinley Funeral Home in Lucasville with Mike Gifford officiating. Burial will follow in Sunset Memorial Gardens. Friday friends may call 6 to 8 p.m. on Friday and an hour before the Funeral
