Eunice Culver, 82 of West Portsmouth, died Saturday November 17, 2018 at SOMC Hospice. She was born July 23, 1936 in Prestonsburg, Kentucky to the late James and Ella Caroline May Prater. She was a retired L.P.N. and a member of Pond Creek Church of Christ.
Along with her parents Eunice was preceded in death by her husband James Wesley Culver Sr., who she married on June 12, 1956, a daughter, Connie Slocum and 9 siblings and her beloved dog, “Penny”.
Eunice is survived by 2 sons; James Wesley (Julie) Culver Jr. of West Portsmouth and Tim Culver of Aurora Colorado, 2 grandchildren; Marissa (Mike) Hall and Vanessa Garvin, 1 great grandchild Brody Hall, a brother Kenneth Prater, 2 sisters Marie Goble and Rosetta Henry.
Funeral services will be 1:00 PM Tuesday November 20, 2018 at the Roger W. Davis Funeral Home in West Portsmouth with Dick Mayer officiating and interment in Mershon Cemetery.
