Patsy Arlene “Nanny” Walder of Waverly, Ohio passed away Saturday, November 10, 2018 at her home surrounded by her family. She was born August 3, 1946 in Urbana, Ohio to the late Chester Charles Crabtree and Agnes Maxine Holton. On April 1, 1967 she was united in marriage to Andrew “Chip” Walder, Jr. who survives. Also surviving are a son, Andrew “Andy” Walder III and wife Heather of Waverly; a daughter Amy Marie Walder-Bonifield and husband John of Waverly; four grandchildren, Andrew Ryan Walder, Emily Grace Walder, Addison Marie Bonifield, and Mary Claire Walder all of Waverly; and a brother Charles “Mick” Crabtree and wife Monika of Kettering, Ohio.
Patsy was a member of St. Mary Queen of the Missions Church in Waverly. She retired from Big Bear and was the owner of Hair Biz for over 25 years. “Nanny” lived her life proudly taking care of and supporting her husband, children and grandchildren.
Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30 AM on Thursday, November 15, 2018 at St. Mary Queen of the Missions Church with Father Sean Dooley and Father William Hahn officiating. The family will receive friends on Wednesday, November 14thfrom 4-7 PM at the Botkin Hornback Funeral Home with a Rosary service at 6:30 PM. In lieu of flowers memorial contribution may be made to NCR Hospice, 681 E. Third Street, Waverly, Ohio 45690.
