Ronald Lee Clay
Ronald Lee “Ronnie” Clay, Jr., 44, of Sciotodale, passed away Monday, November 5, 2018 at his home. He was born July 21, 1974 in Clarksville, TN, a son of Ronald Lee Clay, Sr. of Sciotoville and the late Sheila Faye Lawrence Clay.
Ronnie was a former employee of Meenach’s Garage and Giovanni’s in Wheelersburg. Known as “Pap” to his beloved grandbabies, he believed in “family first” and was a good husband and amazing Dad.
Surviving is his wife, Kellie Michelle Hatfield Clay, whom he married July 25, 1994 in Greenup Co., KY; two daughters, Kelsie (Sam) Bellew of Greenup, KY and Destiny “Boo Boo”(Dwayne Blevins) Clay of Wheelersburg; siblings, Michael James Clay, Christopher Lee (Megan) Clay and Jamie Leeann Ruth Clay, all of Sciotoville, and Brandie Ann (Shannon) Fitzpatrick of West Portsmouth; four grandchildren, Addyson, Ainsley and JJ Frye and Willow Blevins; nieces and nephews, Justin Clay, Brooke (Andrew Scott) Fitzpatrick and Tyler Fitzpatrick, Mercedes and Lexie Clay, Ethan Feeman, Aaron and Haiden Cooke, Josh Lavey and Angelica Mead.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday at the Ralph F. Scott Funeral Home in Portsmouth with Rev. Bob Davis officiating and interment in Friendship Cemetery.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home from noon until the funeral hour Thursday.
