Juanita Mae Noel

Juanita Mae Noel, 85, of Columbus, a former Portsmouth resident, passed away Tuesday, September 25, 2018 at Doctors Hospital in Columbus. She was born December 27, 1932 in Portsmouth to the late Charles Daniel and Estella Mae Gray Scaff, Sr.

Her husband, Arnold Noel, whom she married June 15, 1952 in West Portsmouth, preceded her in death November 11, 1991.

Juanita was a homemaker and mother to Jerry Noel of South Bloomingville, Victor Noel of West Jefferson, Dot (Chris) Lewallen of Westerville, Jeannette (Rick) Buckler of Columbus, Cheryl Dawes of Westerville, Teresa Noel of London and the late Charles E. Noel.

Also surviving Juanita are her siblings, Charles D. Scaff, Jr. of Portsmouth and Phyllis Purtee of Hot Springs, AR; 11 grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.

Private funeral services were held under the direction of the RALPH F. SCOTT FUNERAL HOME in Portsmouth, with interment in Rosemount Cemetery.
