Gloria Anita Preston, 76, of Clarktown, passed away Friday, September 7, 2018 at SOMC Hospice.
She was born July 16, 1942 in Clarktown, a daughter of the late Hobert and Laura Belle Rhoden Preston.
Gloria was a retired Nurse’s Aide for Southern Ohio Medical Center with 31 years of service, and a 1960 Valley High School graduate. She was a huge sports fan always supporting her beloved Bengals, Buckeyes, and Cincinnati Reds.
She is survived by one nephew, Michael Jarold Jewett of West Portsmouth; great niece, Kayla; and great nephew, Joshua; and two special cousins, Irene and Kevin Ashley.
There will be no services at her request, and burial will take place in Lucasville Cemetery at the convenience of the family. Arrangements are under the direction of the McKinley Funeral Home in Lucasville.
