Amel “Buck” Traylor

Age 90 of West Portsmouth, passed away on Tuesday, August 14, 2018 at his home.  He was born March 25, 1928 in Greenup, KY to William and Margaret (Abdon) Traylor.  Buck worked for the railroad, retiring in 1990 after over 42 years with Norfolk Southern Railroad.  He loved to cut grass, ride his 4-wheeler, and garden with his Kubota.  In his younger days, he enjoyed hunting and camping.

He is survived by his son, Larry Traylor of West Portsmouth; daughters, Pam Williams of West Portsmouth and Lori (Trent) Biller of Milford, OH; six grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren.  In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Evelyn in 2013; brother, Raymond Traylor; sister Catherine Debo.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Friday, August 17, 2017 at WOLFE-NELSON FUNERAL HOME in Sciotoville.  Interment will follow at Scioto Burial Park in McDermott.  Friends may call on Friday from 11 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. prior to the funeral.  Online condolences may be shared at www.WolfeNelsonFuneralHome.com.
