Andrew Brown

Andrew “Frank” Brown, 92, of Lucasville passed away Monday, July 16, 2018 at SOMC Hospice in Portsmouth.

Born May 12, 1926 in Lawrence County, a son of the late John Butler Brown and Cora Elizabeth (Stevens) Brown, he was a woodworker and a U.S. Navy Veteran. He is survived by a daughter, Joyce Ann Mercer of Beaver; a granddaughter, Sandy Mercer, and a brother, Paul Brown of Coco Beach, FL. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by a granddaughter, Tammy Mercer, and two sisters, Rachel Evelyn Sagraves and Loretta B. Taylor.

Graveside services will be conducted 1:00 p.m. Thursday, July 19, 2018 at Jacobs Cemetery in Lucasville with Pastor Ronnie Hines officiating. Military graveside rites will be conducted by James Irwin Post No. 622 American Legion and William A. Baker Post No. 363.
