Dale Potter
Dale PotterAge 52 of Portsmouth passed away Monday, July 9, 2018 at SOMC in Portsmouth. He was born December 20, 1965 in Portsmouth to Richard and Myrtle (Dyer) Potter, Jr. Dale was a tattoo artist and liked to draw, listen to music, and ride motorcycles. He loved people, enjoyed talking, laughing and joking with them. More than anything, Dale enjoyed spending time with his family.
He is survived by his wife, Brenda (Whitt) Potter; daughters, Amanda Potter Fraley, Briana Potter, and Salina (Nathan) Spradlin, all of Portsmouth; sisters, Robyn (James) Potter Fuller of Minford, Shawna (Paul) Phillips of McDermott; half-brother, Bill Potter of Chillicothe; grandchildren, Brooklyn Barfield, Brandon Potter, Zayden Potter; brother-in-law, Danny Ray Whitt of Portsmouth; several aunts, uncles, nieces, and nephews. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by brothers, Randy Potter and Rick Potter; nephew, Justin Burchett.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, July 16, 2018 at D.W. SWICK-NELSON FUNERAL HOME in New Boston. Interment will follow at Harger Cemetery in Lucasville.
