Darlene Blankenbeckley

Darlene Blankenbeckley, 87, of Sciotoville, passed away Sunday, June 24, 2018 at her residence.  Darlene was born April 6, 1931 in Wellston, Ohio to the late Frank and Geneva Smith.  She had worked in sales at the former K-Mart and she was a member of Sand Hill Christian Baptist Church.  In addition to her parents, Darlene was preceded in death by her husband, James Blankenbeckley, May 21, 2014, whom she married June 24, 1950 and by two sons, Russell and an infant son.  She is survived by a son, Michael Blankenbeckley and a daughter, Mary Miller; nine grandchildren and fifteen great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be 11:00 AM Wednesday, June 27, 2018 at Harrison-Pyles Funeral Home in Wheelersburg, Ohio. Interment will follow in Sunset Memorial Gardens.  The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 6:00-8:00 PM Tuesday, June 26, 2018 and one hour before the service on Wednesday.  Condolences to the family may be made at www.harrison-pyles.com.
