Phyllis Ann Brown

Phyllis Ann Brown, 61 of St. Rt. 125 West Portsmouth, Ohio died Sunday June 17, 2018 at her residence. She was born on October 8, 1956 in Adams County, Ohio to the late Robert Edmisten, Sr. and Bertha Jarvis Edmisten.

She was united in marriage on October 22, 1994 to Howard Joseph Brown who preceded her in death on October 16, 2016.

Surviving are her two sons: Carl McGlone and wife Tonya of Tollesboro, KY and Kyle Ulloa of West Portsmouth; two daughters: Stephanie Craft and husband Darin of W. Portsmouth, and Nancy Stone and husband Richard of Portsmouth; two grandchildren: Heather Moore and husband Brandon of Portsmouth and Rudy Stone and wife Makala of W. Portsmouth; a great granddaughter, Iris Moore; four brothers: Henry Edmisten of Adams County, OH, Tom Edmisten and Robert Edmisten, Jr. both of Manchester, and Gary Edmisten of Hillsboro, OH; and three sisters: Linda Blythe of Manchester, OH and Debbie Harris of Cincinnati, OH and Juanita Richard of Adams County, Ohio.

Mrs. Brown was a member of the Mt. Armenia Christian Church at Lynx, and was a retired seamstress.

Funeral services will be 1:00 P.M. Friday, June 22, 2018 at the Botkin Hornback Funeral Home in Otway with Pastor Pete Boldman officiating. Burial will follow in the Moores Chapel Cemetery, Blue Creek, Ohio. Friends may call on Friday from 11:00-1:00 P.M. at the funeral home.
