Margaret Ruth Miller

Margaret Ruth Miller, 95, of Waverly, Ohio passed away on Monday, June 11, 2018 at Adena Pike Medical Center in Waverly.  She was born January 18, 1923 in Lawrence County, the daughter of the late Cecil and Ruby Cooke Flannery.  On January 14, 1945 she was united in marriage to Weldon R. Miller who preceded her in death on March 6, 1993. Surviving are a daughter, Ramona Miller of Waverly and fiancé Frank Barbarits of Minford, Ohio; two sons, Gary Miller and wife Judy of Chillicothe, Ohio and Richard Miller and Patricia Braun of Spencerville, Ohio; grandchildren, Brent Moller and wife Sherry and Joel Henline and wife Lisa; great grandchildren, Savannah, Sierra and Seattle Moller and Jaxson and Jessilyn Henline; step grandchildren, Cheryl Jones, Thomas Queen and Lisa Johnson; special nieces, Debbie Flannery and Sherry Flannery and nephew Marlin Flannery and wife Ginny Jo of Fort Myers, Florida.

In addition to her parents and husband, Margaret was preceded in death by a brother, Edward Flannery.

Margaret worked at National Cash Register in Dayton, Ohio and The Fireworks in Chillicothe as a secretary before becoming a farmer’s wife and homemaker.

Funeral services will be 1:00 p.m., Thursday, June 14, 2018 at Botkin Hornback Funeral Home in Waverly with Pastor Jon Black officiating.  Burial will follow in Concord Cemetery in Ross County, Ohio. Family will receive friends at the funeral home on Thursday from 12:00 p.m. – 1:00 p.m.
