Larry L. Clifford

Age 73 of Portsmouth passed away Saturday, June 9, 2018 at SOMC Hospice.  He was born April 6, 1945 in Portsmouth to Lewis E. and Elizabeth (Adkins) Clifford.  He attended North Moreland school and retired from GTE after over 30 years of service as a courier.  He loved to hunt and enjoyed doing Karaoke as an Elvis impersonator.

Larry is survived by his daughters, Aubrey (Landon) Potter of Sevierville, TN, Stacey (Terry) Hall of South Webster;  sisters, Catherine (Bill) Cantrell of Las Vegas, NV, Roberta (Gene) Peach of Minford; granddaughters, Brianna Potter, Brooklyn Potter, Rease Hall, and Dru Hall; special longtime friend, Hazel Scott of Portsmouth.  In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Paul David Messer; sisters, Delores Johnson and Juanita Clifford; granddaughter, Bailey Potter.

Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, June 12, 2018 at D.W. SWICK-NELSON FUNERAL HOME in New Boston with Pastor Paul Hagen officiating.  Interment will follow at Universal Cemetery in Clay Township.  Friends may call on Monday from 5 – 7 p.m. and one hour before the service on Tuesday.  Online condolences may be shared at www.DWSwickNelsonFuneralHome.com.
