Victor Max Weatherhead

Victor Max “Vic” Weatherhead, 69, of Millers Lane, Waverly, Ohio passed away Saturday, May 26, 2018 at his home.  He was born April 30, 1949 in Pike County, Ohio son of the late Robert Streitenberger and Sue Carolyn Weatherhead Walls.  Vic was united in marriage to Elizabeth A. Bumgardner Weatherhead who survives.  Also surviving are a son, Shane Victor Slack of Waverly; three daughters, Whitney Weatherhead  Beekman and husband Anthony of Piketon, Ohio, Skyla Weatherhead and baby due in October and Autumn Victoria Weatherhead of Waverly; four grandchildren, Hunner, Izabelle and Annamae Beekman and Asher Shepherd; mother-in-law, Delilah Blanton; three brothers-in-law, Shane Blanton and wife Lena of Piketon, Tony Fyffe and wife Sarah of Rosemount, Ohio and David Fyffe and wife Crystal of Waverly; three brothers, Lee May and wife Carolyn, Vance Walls and Mark May all of Waverly and numerous nieces and nephews.  In addition to his parents, Vic was preceded in death by brothers, Lyn May, Randy Weatherhead, Rex May and Shawn Walls.

Vic was a retired carpenter, a member of Moose Lodge # 2263 of Waverly and attended Morgantown Church of Christ in Christian Union.

Funeral services will be held 1:00 p.m. on Thursday, May 31, 2018 at Botkin Hornback Funeral Home in Waverly with Pastor Chuck Elliott officiating.  Burial will follow in Gardner Cemetery, Waverly.  Family will receive friends at the funeral home on Wednesday from 5:00 – 8:00 p.m. and one hour prior to the service on Thursday.
