James Wesley Gray

James Wesley Gray, 48, of Piketon, Ohio passed away Saturday, May 5, 2018 at his residence.
He was born November 5, 1969 in Gallipolis, Ohio, the son of the late Clarence and Henrietta Hunley Gray.
Jim was a painter for the Kenworth Corporation, a US Army veteran, and a 1988 Jackson High School graduate. He attended Beech Fork Church near Otway.
He was also preceded in death by his son, Austin Blevins; and his brother, Jerry Gray.
Jim is survived by his wife, Jennifer Lynn Whittaker Gray, whom he married February 14, 1997 in West Portsmouth; one daughter, Mariah Gray at home; one son, William (Kirsten) Blevins of West Portsmouth; two grandchildren, Solomon and Kori Blevins; three brothers, Jeff (Carol) Gray of Beaver, Charles (Penny) Gray and Paul (Jamie) Gray both of Jackson; four sisters, Kathy (Terry) Powell and Joy (Charley) Brown both of Jackson, and Rose (Jeff) McComas of Vinton and Emelie Paul of Coalton.
Funeral services will be conducted at noon, Wednesday, May 9, 2018 at the Beech Fork Church near Otway, with Tom Brown officiating. Burial will follow in Scioto Burial Park where graveside military rites will be performed by the William A. Baker, and James F. Irwin Posts of the American Legion. Friends may call 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at Beech Fork Church and again Wednesday an hour before the funeral. Arrangements are under the direction of the McKinley Funeral Home in Lucasville.
