John Kevin Bailey

John Kevin Bailey left this world on April 29th 2018. He was doing what he loved, hunting mushrooms, high on a ridge.
He was born February 12, 1968 in Portsmouth to John E. and Linda K. Bailey (Carter).
He leaves behind his loving wife, and best friend, Lisa Blevins Bailey, whom he adored. They were married August 4th 1992. They were blessed with 28 wonderful years together here on this earth.
He was a retired truck driver, a proud Army Veteran, an avid hunter and fisherman, and he loved to hunt mushrooms. The thing he was most proud of though, was his family and he was happiest when surrounded by those he loved; and he loved them fiercely.
In addition to his wife, he leaves behind two sons: John Edward Bailey II and Kenneth Logan Bailey; a stepson, Joshua Lee Blevins; two granddaughters, Tammy Renay Johnson and Koralee Abbigail Bailey; one grandson, Jackson Levi Bailey; a sister, Anita and brother-in-law, Gary Rawlins; four nephews, Bo (Heather), Ethan, Travis, and Wyatt; great-nephew, Korbin Cash; two great-nieces Elliana Rain and Paige Renay, brothers-in-law, Cledeth (Misty) Blevins, Jack (Melissa) Blevins, Richard (Jenny) Blevins, and Ricky Blevins; and his mother-in-law, Phyllis Blevins; as well as a host of other nieces, nephews, friends, and loved ones.  He was preceded in death by his father-in-law, Jack Blevins. His memory will live on through all who loved him.
