Rosemary Atkins, 81, of Lucasville, passed away Monday, April 23, 2018 at Southern Ohio Medical Center’s Emergency Room.
She was born August 2, 1936 in Portsmouth, a daughter of the late Elza Clyde and Charlotte Pearl Luckett Stambaugh.
Rosemary was a retired from Bank One in the bookkeeping department for over 40 years. She was a 1954 Valley High School graduate.
She is survived by one son, Donald Motes of Portsmouth; two grandchildren, Summer (Steve) Mollette of Lucasville and Amanda Bentley; five great-grandchildren, Kayden, Christian, Zane, Kayson, and Kellyn; one brother, Donald Stambaugh of Lucasville; and her special friend Janet Caudill.
She was also preceded in death by her husband, Jordan Atkins, February 17, 2003.
Graveside services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Friday, April 27, 2018 in Lucasville Cemetery with Bud Mefford officiating. Friends may call from noon to 1:30 p.m. at the McKinley Funeral Home in Lucasville.
