Rosemary Morrison
Age 87 of Wheelersburg, went to be with the Lord on April 13, 2018 at Best Care Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Wheelersburg. She was born October 19, 1930 in Wheelersburg to John and Grace (Marshall) Collingsworth. She graduated in 1949 from Wheelersburg High School and was a member of Cornerstone Nazarene Church for over 60 years. Rosemary enjoyed cooking, baking, gardening, quilting, and loved spending time with her family. One of her fondest memories was serving as a babysitter for the Marting family in the 1940s.
She is survived by one son, Robert (Debbie) Morrison of Wheelersburg; four grandchildren, Josh Morrison of Wheelersburg, Tiffany (Nate) Blanton of Franklin Furnace, Aaron Morrison of Wheelersburg, Seth Morrison of Wheelersburg; one great-grandson, Conner Blanton; one brother, Jerry (Carol) Collingsworth of Wheelersburg; three nieces and nephews, Jerry Lee Collingsworth, Robin Dunham, Patty Staker. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, James Edward Morrison, Sr.; her son, Jim Morrison; nephew, John Morrison; and two brothers, Ronnie Collingsworth and John Collingsworth.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, April 17, 2018 at D.W. SWICK-NELSON FUNERAL HOME in Wheelersburg with Pastor Matt Hancock officiating. Interment will follow at Sunset Memorial Gardens in Franklin Furnace. Friends may call on Monday from 6 – 8 p.m. and one hour prior to the service on Tuesday. Online condolences may be shared at
