Patsy Emma Jean Montgomery, 78, of Lucasville, passed away Sunday, April 15, 2018 at her residence.
She was born February 7, 1940 in Clintwood, Virginia, a daughter of the late Ted and Birdie Wood Hawkins.
Patsy was a lifelong caregiver and member of Big Run United Baptist Church.
She is survived by her son, Timothy Montgomery of Lucasville; one grandson, Nick McGraw; one great-grandson, Mike McGraw; and two great-granddaughters, Ziva and Haley McGraw; one brother, Ron Hawkins of Clintwood, Virginia; two sisters, Leona Moore of Clintwood, Virginia and Sue Montgomery of Lucasville; and special friend Beverly Montgomery.
Patsy was also preceded in death by her husband, Sylvester “Pud” Montgomery, July 27, 1998; one son, Ted Montgomery; one daughter, Christi McGraw; and her daughter-in-law, Lori Montgomery.
Funeral services will be conducted at 1 p.m. Wednesday, April 18, 2018 at the Big Run United Baptist Church in Lucasville with Marvin Carver and Kelly Carver officiating. Burial will follow in Big Run Cemetery. Friends may call from noon until the funeral hour Wednesday at the church.
