Kenneth A. Bruso, 71, of Rarden, died Saturday, April 14, 2018, in the emergency room at the Adena Reginal Medical Center. Born on October 31, 1946 in Keene, NH, he was a son of the late George and Agnes Dubruiel Bruso.
Ken was a Navy veteran of the Vietnam War, where he was a fighter pilot.
Also preceding him in death was a brother, Allen Bruso.
Surviving are his wife, Joni Cole Bruso; four sons, Alexander (Christy) Bruso and Nicholas (Christy) Bruso, all of Sacramento, CA, Technical Sargent Brad Harr of Dayton and Eric Bruso of Franklin Furnace; a daughter Brittany (Michael) Bruso-Fuller of Lucasville; four grandchildren, Caitlin Lambert, Cierrah Lambert, Caleigh Lambert and J.B. Fuller; and a great-grandson, Izaiah Lambert.
A Celebration of Ken’s Life will be held at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday at the BRANT FUNERAL HOME IN SCIOTOVILLE with Brenda Wickersham officiating. Military honors will be rendered by the James Dickey Post of the American Legion. The family will receive guest at Brant’s from 4:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
The flags on the avenue will fly in honor of Navy veteran Kenneth Bruso.
