Edmund L. May

Age 90 of Wheelersburg, went to be with the Lord on Sunday, April 15, 2018 at SOMC Hospice of Portsmouth.  He was born October 15, 1927 in Sciotoville to Theodore and Virginia (McClurg) May.  He was married December 24, 1949 in Sciotoville to Norma Jean Black.  He worked for many years as a salesman for the Borden Milk Company.  Ed loved to work outside in the yard, watch the Reds on TV, and spend time with his family.  He was a long time member of Ohio Valley United Baptist Church and served as an ordained Deacon and Trustee.
Ed is survived by Jean, his wife of 68 years; one daughter, Kimberly Sue (Chuck) Conn of Wheelersburg; two grandchildren, Amy (Matt) Kleski of Columbus, Aaron (Trisha) Conn of Circleville; three great-grandchildren, Parker Kleski, Adelyn Conn, and Emilia Conn; one sister, Joan Powell of Wheelersburg.  In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a son, Kevin Lee May; a brother, Ralph May; three sisters, Betty Kaltenbach, Joyce Barnes, Sharon Phillips.
Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m. Thursday, April 19, 2018 at Ohio Valley United Baptist Church in Wheelersburg with Brother A.J. Williamson and Brother Clayton Oliver officiating.  Friends may call on Wednesday from 5 – 7 p.m. at D.W.
