Paul David “P.D.” Williams

Paul David “P.D.” Williams, 40, of Portsmouth, died Saturday, March 31, 2018 at SOMC. He was born September 23, 1977 in Portsmouth to Paul J. and Janet M. Glynn Williams, who survive.

P.D. attended St. Mary’s Catholic Church. He worked for City Amusement running the Dart League, Morton’s Pharmacy for 16 years and the Elk’s Country Club. He loved sports of all kinds and was the biggest Notre Dame fan, appearing many times as the leprechaun. P.D. attended Notre Dame schools till his sophomore year and he graduated from Lucasville Valley in 1996. He was a member of B.P.O.E. and Knights of Columbus.

Surviving is his wife of ten years, Carrie Ann Reed Williams, whom he married March 29, 2008 in Portsmouth, and their five dogs; his parents, Paul J. and Janet M. Williams of Portsmouth; sister Kelley (Carl) Miller of Lucasville; brother Brian (Shelly) Williams of Lucasville; two nieces; three nephews; three great-nephews; and many friends whom he loved.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10 A.M. Thursday, April 5, 2018 at St. Mary’s Catholic Church with the Reverend Joseph Yokum officiating. Interment will follow at Greenlawn Cemetery.

A visitation for family and friends will be held Wednesday from 5 to 8 P.M. with Recitation of the Rosary at 8 P.M. at the RALPH F. SCOTT FUNERAL HOME in Portsmouth.
