Dallas James, 88, of Kettering, passed away Saturday, March 24, 2018 at her residence.
She was born April 15, 1929 in Breathitt Co., Kentucky, a daughter of the late Troy and Bertha Fugate Richie.
Dallas was a homemaker.
She is survived by her daughter-in-law and caregiver, Connie James of Kettering; one son, Jonah “Pete” James of Dayton; and one daughter, Sharon Barrett of Portsmouth; ten grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; four step children, Teryl Blevins, Sam James, Linda Klara, and Samantha Fry; several step-grandchildren; and several great grandchildren.
Dallas was also preceded in death by three sons, George “Ben” James Jr., William “Bill” James, and David James; and two daughters, Daisy Marcum and Angela James; one step-daughter, Sheila Smith; and two sisters, Ethyl and Dorothy.
Graveside services will be conducted at 1:30 p.m. Friday, March 30, 2018 in Scioto Burial Park with Bill Andronis officiating. Friends may call Friday from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the McKinley Funeral Home in Lucasville.
