The Scioto Voice has been serving residents of Southern Ohio
counties since 1973. Our newspaper is dedicated to providing the area’s
households a quality product with news and sports coverage of local interest.
In 2000, Voice Newspapers, Inc. was purchased by Debbie
Allard, a graduate of Wheelersburg High School. Debbie and family returned home
to Scioto County more than 8 years ago. Debbie has more than 20 years
experience in the newspaper industry and has served as Managing Editor for the
Portsmouth Daily Times, numerous newspapers in Kentucky, South Carolina,
Tennessee, Mississippi and as Bureau Chief for the New Orleans Times Picayune.
The Scioto Voice’s emphasis is on local-community news and
sports. Our newspaper is sold at a variety of business throughout Scioto County
and is delivered to subscribers in Ohio and across the country via the U.S.
Mail.
